About Us
New Outlook Counseling is a compassionate and client-centered mental health practice committed to providing high-quality care to individuals and couples. We foster a supportive and collaborative work environment and are currently seeking full and part-time licensed therapists to join our growing team. This position offers flexible hours, including but not limited to evening and weekend availability to help meet high client demand during non-traditional hours.
Position Summary
We are looking for dedicated and empathetic mental health professionals to provide therapy services to a diverse clientele, including couples counseling. The ideal candidate will be skilled in supporting clients navigating mental health concerns, relationship challenges, emotional distress, and personal growth. Additionally, ideal but not required, candidate will be comfortable working independently during evening and weekend hours.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual and couples therapy sessions in accordance with clinical best practices
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the clients’ needs
Maintain timely and accurate documentation using our electronic health record (EHR) system
Participate in occasional team meetings, supervision, or trainings as needed
Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive team environment
Create a warm, safe, and inclusive environment for all clients
Maintain appropriate licensure and continuing education requirements as required by the State of Nebraska
Adhere to professional and ethical standards in mental health counseling per ACA ethics.
Requirements
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
Active licensure in Nebraska (e.g., LIMHP, LMHP, LCSW, LP or equivalent)
Experience providing therapy to individuals and couples
Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
Passionate about the mission of New Outlook Counseling
Preferred Qualifications
Training in EFT, Gottman Method, or other couples therapy modalities
Experience working with diverse populations
Evening and weekend availability
Bilingual skills are a plus
