Brenna Erdman, intern
I believe that therapy is a truly special place, and that creating a nonjudgmental environment is important for honest self-exploration. I believe that the therapeutic relationship should be one of authenticity, collaboration, and one that feels safe and supportive. I am honored to create space for clients to share their lives with me, and I am committed to empowering clients with tools to grow into their most ideal selves.
Wherever you are in your journey, whatever you are seeking from therapy, I want to take those next steps with you! I have experience working with obsessive compulsive disorder and anxiety disorders, and my approach integrates evidence-based techniques including ERP and CBT to empower individuals to find relief and improve their quality of life. I have special interests in working with young adults and college students, and supporting those experiencing a chronic illness or chronic pain. Additionally, I am committed to providing affirming care for LGBTQIA+ individuals, helping them to feel seen, supported, and empowered.
My approach is tailored to each person's unique needs, helping them develop effective strategies for managing their struggles and achieving personal growth. I employ aspects of ACT, REBT and narrative therapy in my electic counseling style. I’m dedicated to working collaboratively with each client to develop personalized strategies for overcoming challenges and achieving lasting change.
I accept clients through insurance and private pay on a sliding scale. Reach out today to schedule a session and take the first step towards personal growth and healing.
