Brenna Erdman, PLMHP
Therapy can be a powerful space for self-discovery and growth- a place to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. My goal is to create an authentic, collaborative, and supportive therapeutic environment where you feel safe to share, reflect, and do meaningful work. If you’re feeling stuck in cycles of worry or seeking greater clarity and self-trust, I’m here to walk alongside you. Together, we’ll work toward building resilience, confidence, and a sense of steadiness as you move forward.
I work with adults age 20 and older, with a primary focus on obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and anxiety disorders. I support clients who feel overwhelmed by chronic worry, rumination, perfectionism, intrusive thoughts, or compulsive behaviors, as well as those navigating major life transitions. I also have a particular passion for working with individuals living with chronic illness or chronic pain, and I am committed to providing affirming, inclusive care for the LGBTQIA+ community.
My approach to therapy is flexible, intentional, and tailored to each client. I draw from evidence-based treatments including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This allows us to collaboratively create a treatment plan that fits your needs, your values, and your pace, helping therapy feel both effective and sustainable.
I accept private pay as well as a variety of insurance plans, including Aetna, Ambetter, Midlands Choice/Auxiant, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Medicaid (Molina, Nebraska Total Care, United Healthcare Community Plan). In-person sessions are available at our downtown Lincoln location, and Telehealth appointments are available for anyone located in Nebraska.
If you’re ready to take the next step in your mental health journey, I’d be glad to connect. We can take this one step at a time- together.
