Kensie McFadden, LMHP
I understand that mental health needs come from a wide variety of life experiences. I aim to offer a safe space where individuals can explore issues in their life through an Existential lens to help them find clarification and awareness. I work with clients to identify behaviors that they have learned as a way to adapt to their life experiences and how those behaviors impact the type of life that they desire to have. I aim to help clients rebuild a sense of hope within themselves that a different experience of life is possible.
I have experience and training working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, difficulty coping, or feelings of being stuck. I work with individuals of the LGBTQIA2S+ community and the BIPOC community with an informed approach to social and justice issues within Multicultural Counseling. I have experience working with individuals and loved ones impacted by substance use issues.
I offer a holistic approach to counseling services that provides a safe, non-judgemental space for clients to thoroughly explore their experiences. Counseling is a vulnerable space where clients deserve to be seen and accepted where they are at.
