I see therapy as an incredibly transformative and healing process. In order for this healing to take place, it’s important you find the right therapist for you. I believe in creating an individualized approach to therapy tailored specifically to you, with as much or as little push from me as you find helpful. I work to create a therapeutic environment that feels safe and supportive, as I believe trust is essential in promoting growth. As a counselor, I naturally approach therapy in a client-centered manner in which we work toward goals you have for yourself. If you aren’t sure what you want to work on yet, let’s talk about it!
I have experience working with college students and with children, teens, and adults of all ages with a range of presenting concerns in outpatient settings. I use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) most regularly in therapy sessions, alongside other techniques, to help my clients think, feel, and behave in more helpful and meaningful ways.
